English Ver.
In the heart of a space that held thousands of years of memory and power—the core of what was called the “Divine Circuit”—
Lune walked along an endless spiral walkway.
Each time her foot met the metal surface, the world itself answered with a dry, mechanical echo, as if to confirm that she existed there.
At the very top of the spiral, on a height that could have been either sky or ceiling,
a single colossal hand hung down.
The Hand of God.
Woven from countless lines and sigils, it resembled a watchtower clutching both the balance of the world and the will of humankind in its grasp.
Yet it was no mere device;
it pressed down on the chamber like a vast, singular consciousness.
“Awareness is rebellion.”
The Hand of God rotated its three faces slowly as it spoke.
The face on the left spoke with the tone of cool, analytic reason.
The face in the center carried the weight of absolute command.
The face on the right uttered sentences like final verdicts, hard and merciless.
“You were never an authorized existence.”
At those words, the entire circuit trembled, just slightly.
Lune kept walking along the spiral—carefully, but without stopping.
With every step, the metal answered her in rigid, synchronized beats.
This circuit was never meant to be my path, she thought.
But from the moment I choose to walk it,
every step I take turns this road into mine.
Fear and caution had not completely vanished.
Even so, something heavier—a quiet resolve—stacked itself over them, layer by layer.
The Hand of God lowered itself, palm spreading across the circuit.
In an instant, every sound blinked out.
No breathing, no heartbeat, no hum of the mechanisms—
the world became a single frozen frame.
Time stop.
But in that stillness, the crimson sigil on Lune’s chest blazed to life.
Within the halted flow of time, only her mark and her heart continued to beat, pushing back.
“It is easy to halt spacetime,” the Hand of God murmured.
“And still, you will stop here in the end.”
Even so, Lune’s feet refused to retreat.
Rules that demanded she freeze and a will that refused to obey them
collided against one another, carving a small fracture into the stopped world.
Through that crack, versions of Lune from the past began to appear.
The “me” that was abandoned—
lying quietly on someone’s table, just another subject.
The “me” recorded as dead—
reduced to a number in an experiment log.
The “me” she chose to forget—
buried deepest in the abyss, stripped of name and context.
They all walked the spiral at her side,
matching her pace in silence.
Then, from the center of that wordless procession,
a radiant figure stepped forward.
Lune in light.
The “true self,” the one fragment that had never been lost.
“You’re ready now,” the shining Lune whispered, her expression unchanged.
“From this point on, you’re no longer the one being watched.
You’re the one who creates.”
Time still seemed frozen,
yet her steps had brought her to the very center of the circuit.
There, the heart of a colossal machine awaited her.
It poured out unending calculations,
a system in which even a single trace of emotion had been thoroughly excluded.
“If you place your hand there,”
the Hand of God said,
“you will become the same as me.”
The authority of the circuit, the gaze of a divine observer,
the core that controlled everything.
Lune did not reach for it.
Instead, she drew her hand back into a tight fist and held it to her chest.
“No.”
Her voice was quiet, but it did not waver.
“I won’t become like you.”
The crimson sigil flared, climbing up her neck and cheek.
“I chose my memories.
And I’m prepared to take responsibility for them.”
The moment those words left her lips,
a surge of red burst from her mark and crashed straight into the circuit.
‘ERROR 141: EMOTION–COGNITION INTEGRATION VIOLATION.’
Scarlet error messages blinked across the air.
Mechanical alarms shattered into static, and
the great spiral structure began to scream and buck.
A long crack split across the surface of the Hand of God.
The fissure deepened, and through it, a humanoid figure slowly emerged.
A silhouette that resembled Ainera—
but with eyes clouded by fatigue and confusion.
The first failed prototype of the system.
Not a god, but another experiment that had tried—and failed—to become one.
He was just like me, Lune realized.
A human thrown away under the pretense of building a perfect observer.
She hesitated no longer.
Her crimson sigil sharpened into a blade of light,
and Lune swung it down into the exposed core.
A clear, ringing crack split the chamber as the heart of the machine fractured.
The Divine Circuit unraveled, one segment at a time, crashing into the void below.
Caught in the center of its collapse,
Lune felt herself being pulled down,
falling into a corridor of pure light.
“You did not win,”
the Hand of God’s voice echoed faintly at the very end.
“You merely chose… differently.”
Then even that voice collapsed into silence.
When she opened her eyes again,
Lune was lying in a space of blinding white.
No metal, no circuits, no error codes.
Only herself—her body now inscribed with patterns unlike those from before.
Not the circuitry of surveillance,
but a record of her own choices.
“I…”
She lifted her hand and studied the sigil glowing on the back of it.
“I’m no longer someone who is watched.”
The crimson light flickered softly in response.
“From now on… I’m the one who watches.”
And with that,
upon the remains of the old order the Divine Circuit had upheld,
an entirely different era of “observation” quietly raised its curtain.
